Hastings Tile & Bath Debuts New Line Of Vanities And Accessories From Sonia

Premiere Spanish Manufacturer of Contemporary Bath Vanities, Ceramic Sinks and Accessories Continues Evolution of Clever Designs

Freeport, N.Y. — Hastings Tile & Bath, the importers and distributors of contemporary bath furniture and fixtures, is debuting the newest creations from Spanish manufacturer Sonia®, whose mission continues to be the playful integration of geometry and functional design, as it relates to the shapes and styles used to create clever bathroom collections.

“Sonia’s products continue to delight designers and homeowners – they are so adept at creating playful, contemporary bathroom products and accessories,” said Bob Gifford, director of bath products at Hastings Tile & Bath.

As a green manufacturer, Sonia operates under an in-depth environmental protection policy that assures products are made in a way that decreases the use of natural resources (water, energy, etc.) and hazardous chemical products. Under the guidance of their CEO, Jose Roca, Sonia has begun using higher quality manufacturing techniques, materials and more current technologies to help meet the demand of the North American market.

The new products on display in Hastings’ New York City showroom are:

Scalene
Scalene vanities are all about creating volumes with a conical perspective. A simple concept using straight lines to create geometrically irregular furniture with unequal sides and angles. Because the angles are so precise, it all works beautifully. Two base units, 70cm (28”) and 30cm (12”), can be combined to get up to five different compositions. Available in 12 lacquered colors and 3 wood finish options.

Puzzle
Simplicity, flexibility and functionality define Puzzle, combining up to three different geometric elements into one vanity. A 50cm (20”) right and left door base unit with two extra elements: door side unit and drawer side unit. A 30cm (12”) white metal towel bar can be installed on the sides. Five finishes available: white, blanco soft, rubi soft, shadow soft and teka.

Reverse
Reverse comes with simple and compact lines, and offers high capacity storage, for a mid range cabinet. A spectacular ceramic sink in white or anthracite finish completes this attractive model. Reverse comes in two sizes: 80cm (31”) and 100cm (39”). Available in graphite or ivory.

Play 47
The Play collection of vanities is now available with double sinks and new solid surface sinks in a matte or glossy finish. Play Wood consists of five wood finishes. Play Colors offers 12 different shades of lacquer in two different finishes (gloss and touch).

SX6
Along with new vanities, Sonia has introduced a line of glazed ceramic sinks, available in two finishes and four sizes that can be used with their vanities or separately as wall-mounted units.

Accessories
The new accessory lines, simply named S4,S2 and S0 are made up of towel hooks, rails, toilet paper holders, robe hooks, soap dishes and soap dispensers. As with all Sonia products, each accessory is cleanly defined and devoid of unnecessary elements. The S4 line of accessories is crafted with solid surface brackets and chrome details – unlike any other accessory lines on the market.

The new collections are on display at the Hastings showroom located in the A+D Building in New York City. If you are attending ICFF, stop by the showroom to see the collection.
