Health Care Institute Chicago Adds Construction Expertise to Its Board

The Health Care Institute’s (HCI) Chicago group has strengthened its board with the appointment of Jenny Hansen, strategic accounts executive at Leopardo Companies, as Program Co-Chair. In this new role Hansen will help the local organization launch new events in the year ahead.

As strategic accounts executive at Leopardo Companies, Hansen supports the senior living group, which provides comprehensive preconstruction and construction services for the expanding healthcare and senior living markets. Leopardo, founded in 1977, is one of the nation’s largest and most respected construction firms, building world-class facilities with innovative processes. Hansen brings to Leopardo 13 years of sales and business development experience and has worked closely with architects, consultants, subcontractors, owner representatives and tenants. Her strong customer service approach has served both her company and clients well.

In addition to her role with HCI, Hansen is an active member of LeadingAge Illinois, the Healthcare Engineers Society of Illinois and the American Society of Healthcare Engineering.

HCI launched its Chicago group in August 2016 to support its mission to enhance the skills of facility management professionals and further the overall profession. The Chicago organization provides a local focus for healthcare facility professionals by hosting local meetings, educational programs and networking events.

The organization is seeking additional volunteers with a passion for providing education and professional development opportunities. To learn more about HCI’s Chicago Council, visit www.hcichicago.info.
