Healthcare construction booming in Houston

Nine new buildings totaling more than 353,000 square feet were finished in the second half of 2014

While most of the Houston commercial real estate market is cooling off, the healthcare industry shows no signs of slowing down, according to an article in the Houston Business Journal.

Nine new buildings totaling more than 353,000 square feet were finished in the second half of 2014. Six medical office buildings totaling 371,797 square feet are currently underway, including CHI St. Luke's 155,000-square-foot project.
