Healthcare facility designed with contemporary comforts

New Park Avenue Medical Center includes a healing garden

The new Park Avenue Medical Center, Trumbull, Ct., was designed with contemporary comforts, according to an article on the Health Facilities Management website.

The facility offers a range of outpatient care for patients, including treatment for cancer and other chronic conditions.

The building was designed with an angle to create a large landscaped garden with private spaces for patients to receive infusions.

The healthcare facility incorporates abundant use of glass for natural light and precast concrete with inset triangular shapes to create a modern look.

The centerpiece is a healing garden that includes a waterfall and other design features.
