Herman Miller offers insight and interaction at Design & Health World Congress & Exhibition


The 10th Design & Health World Congress & Exhibition will be held in Toronto from July 9-13, 2014.

The event is produced by the International Academy for Design & Health, a global, interdisciplinary knowledge community dedicated to the stimulation and application of research concerning the interaction between design, health, science & culture to promote human health, wellbeing and quality of life through environmental design.

Herman Miller Healthcare will host a number of educational presentations during the conference, in addition to allowing attendees an opportunity to tap into their “playful” side on the exhibit floor.

Optimizing Performance Through Design

On the afternoon of Thursday, July 10 at 1:30 p.m., Lynda Cannell, Chief Operating Officer, Fortius Sport & Health will present on “Human-Centered Design to Optimize Human Performance and Client Experience” on the Showcase area on the main exhibit floor.

Fortius Sport & Health is an integrated athlete development center that provides centralized convenience for clients and a state-of-the-art facility for practitioners, designed to foster integration, collaboration and innovation.

This case study will illustrate how Fortius created an inspirational, human-centered design to promote working, healing and living well.
