HITEC Power Protection (HITEC), the inventor of diesel rotary UPS, today announced the appointment of Garrett Forde as the company’s new CEO.  Forde is a well-respected leader with in-depth commercial and business development experience working with international technology companies in the Americas, Asia and EMEA.

Prior to joining HITEC, Forde held leadership roles for a combined 15 years, within Intelligent Energy, Axisto and Philips. With an MBA and a degree in Physics, Forde is also skilled at balancing technology and commercial aspects of a business while having a keen sense and appreciation for employees and cultural diversity.
