Holiday Inn opens on Cleveland Clinic campus

Hotel offers patients and their families a more affordable alternative to nearby hotels

The Holiday Inn that recently opened on Cleveland Clinic campus will give patients and their families a more affordable alternative to other nearby options, according to an article on the Cleveland.com website.

"We will take care of patients and their families who are here from all parts of the world," said Campbell Black, regional director of operations and general manager at the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG owns the Holiday Inn brand).

The Holiday Inn is meant to fill a void left by the closure in 2013 of the Cleveland Clinic Guesthouse.

The Guesthouse was torn down to make room for the new Cleveland Clinic-Case Western Reserve University medical education campus.
