The hospital developed the virtual-therapy session to help reduce patients' anxiety and pain.
The children place a virtual-reality (VR) headset on and are virtually transported to the project construction area as if they were walking on the site.
The VR experience allows the children to learn how hospitals are built and explore the hospital construction project that is just outside their room in the existing hospital facility.
