Hospitals cancel surgeries after cracks found in operating room walls

The closure comes just over a week after dust contamination also closed the surgery area

Raigmore Hospital has canceled surgeries after cracks were found in the walls of the main operating room, according to an article on the Press and Journal website.

And last October operations were postponed as a result of a water leak damaging hospital computers.

NHS Highland chiefs said no structural issues were found, but concerns were highlighted relating to the superficial cracks on some of the walls.
