Hospitals with the quietest patient rooms

Data from Hospital Compare tracks surveys from July 2013 through June 2014


Forty-five hospitals made the list of quietest facilities for which 89 percent or more of patients reported that the area around their room was "always" quiet at night on their HCAHPS survey, according to an article on the Becker's Infection Control and Clinical Quality website.

The data, from Hospital Compare, tracks surveys from July 2013 through June 2014.

The top five hospitals on the list are: 

• National Jewish Health (Denver) — 100 percent

• Hebrew Home and Hospice (West Hartford, Conn.) — 100 percent

• Diley Ridge Medical Center (Canal Winchester, Ohio) — 100 percent

• Phs Sioux San Indian Hospital at Rapid City (S.D.) — 100 percent

• Emerus Hospital (Sugar Land, Texas) — 100 percent

• Latimer County General Hospital (Wilburton, Okla.) — 99 percent
