Housekeeping Solutions magazine announces name change to Facility Cleaning Decisions

MILWAUKEE—The name Facility Cleaning Decisions will replace Housekeeping Solutions starting with the July/August 2013 issue in an effort to better represent the publications’ readers, who are responsible for in-house cleaning in the nation’s campuses, hospitals, hospitality chains and more. Trade Press Media Group LLC, the owner and publisher of Facility Cleaning Decisions, has announced it aims to better define its readership while galvanizing the magazine’s position as an authority source and esteemed member of a professional community of in-house Directors of Environmental Services, Custodial Services Managers and Facilities Managers.

“Our readers are decision makers who represent an impressive cross-section of the nation’s non-residential facilities,” says Publisher Rob Geissler, “We are excited about the name change as Facility Cleaning Decisions more accurately tells the story of the people who read our magazine and comprise our industry. Even though advertising investments in Housekeeping Solutions have nearly doubled during the first half of 2013, we found there is still some confusion regarding the market served by our publication. As a result, we felt it was time to revisit the name of the magazine itself.”

No other publication reaches more in-house facility managers: Facility Cleaning Decisions will continue to reach an audience of more than 38,000 cleaning product and equipment decision-makers who are responsible for more than 1.2 million facilities. Online content will continue to be accessible via www.Cleanlink.com.

“Our readers have evolved and become key players in this industry,” added Facility Cleaning Decisions Editor Corinne Zudonyi. “It is time that we mirror the progress they have made with a fresh, more precise name.”
