Add “Big Data” to the picture and healthcare organizations will have their work cut of them.

Fortunately, the article said, the cost of storage media is coming down, which will help organizations keep pace with their expanding requirements. The availability of the cloud is another option that is getting serious attention, while storage technology advancements are providing better tools for provider organizations to manage data in their own data centers.
