Illustra Essentials adds varifocal mini-dome and bullet cameras

Tyco Security Products introduces the new Illustra Essentials mini-dome and bullet IP cameras. These low-cost cameras provide a high definition video solution.

Available in 1 and 2 megapixel outdoor mini-dome and bullet varifocal models, the new Illustra Essentials IP cameras offer users a wider field of view. These cameras utilize a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens. Beyond the field of view, the Illustra Essentials varifocal cameras have true day/night IR illumination to capture high quality video in low light situations. While producing exceptional low light color video, Illustra Essentials also features noise reduction and reduced storage costs with highly efficient bandwidth usage

The Illustra Essentials varifocals provide high performance wide dynamic range to simultaneously view high contrast areas. Ideal for changing lighting conditions, the Illustra Essentials cameras are ideal for outdoor regions with very bright and dark areas. Additionally, these cameras feature H.264 and MJPEG dual-stream encoding and a maximum 30 images per second at 1080p or 720p for crisp, clear images.

The mini-dome cameras come with durable enclosures with an IK10 rating to protect against vandalism.
