Incident management technology is key to a healthcare facility's accreditation readiness which stresses the evaluation of the hospital’s emergency process, according to an article on the Facility Care website.

Emergency preparedness should be effective for interruptions at any level, from utility failures to weather events. And emergency information management can be supplemented with the use of incident management technology, the article said.

The use of such technology enables preparation for an accreditation survey as well as effective emergency preparedness and response.
