Indiana University Health turning mansion into clinic

$2.2 million project will turn the Abshire Mansion in Goshen into Maple City Health Care Center's second clinic


Indiana University Health and a medical care provider for low-income patients are teaming up to renovate a historic building in Goshen. The $2.2 million project will transform the Abshire Mansion into Maple City Health Care Center's second clinic, according to an article on the Inside Indiana Business website.

IU Health Goshen Foundation (IUHGF) and Maple City Health Care Center (MCHCC) began construction to convert the mansion into a new clinic. This second primary care office will increase their capacity to serve 5,000 more people and provide access to healthcare to Elkhart County residents.

The property will be preserved, renovated and expanded to create a a clinic, education and counseling space.
