Larson Electronics, leader in industrial lighting, has released a tripod mounted, dual-lamp LED work light that produces a total of 1,440 lumens. This adjustable LED tower is waterproof with an IP68 rated construction, is equipped with a 15-foot coil cord and an in-line transformer for 120-277V AC operation and is ideal for use in rugged outdoor industrial work environments where elevated high-output work light is needed.
The WALTP-L2X4-15CC-1227 from Larson Electronics is a 24-watt tripod mounted dual LED work light that includes two LED light heads that contain four Edison Edixeon® Emitters each, producing a total of 1,440 lumens of bright light. These CREE LED lamps produce both a narrow 10-degree spread spot beam combined with a high output reflector, and a 60- degree flood beam. This beam combination configuration provides operators with both distance and width in their work environment to effectively illuminate large work spaces.
These LED work lights are mounted with a single bracket on top of an adjustable tripod constructed of aluminum, that can be raised to 10 feet or lowered to 3.5 feet. The heavy-duty aluminum tripod is constructed of aluminum with stainless steel hardware- lightweight, yet durable, the tripod provides a stable platform for the lamps that can easily be moved throughout the worksite. The lights are mounted with a bracket that allows users to adjust the lamps horizontally and vertically to achieve desired coverage.
The WALTP-L2X4-15CC-1227 features IP68 rated construction which allows this unit to be used in extreme environments where water, dust, dirt and humidity are present. Unbreakable polycarbonate lenses protect the CREE LEDs, which are resistant to shocks and vibrations. The lights operate on 9-32V DC with no modifications necessary, or on standard 120-277VAC with the help of the inline transformer. This dual LED work light tower includes a detachable 15-foot coil cord with a cigarette plug. Other cord options are available.
“This dual LED work light is a great portable fixture for operators who need great light output but also location flexibility,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “The adjustable tripod is great for use with large and small footprint applications and offers easy mobility and storage because it can be collapsed. The integration of an inline transformer provides more voltage options for additional operational flexibility.”
