Legrand, North & Central America today announced two new tunable white LED light engines, Blanco 2 and Blanco 3, that deliver fixture manufacturers a completely integrated solution that enables the highest quality tunable light available. Both serve as natural expansions to Legrand’sHuman Centric Lighting line of products.
The Wattstopper line takes the complexity out of tunable lighting projects by providing a turnkey solution that integrates seamlessly with the Wattstopper Digital Lighting Management (DLM) platform to ensure simple, intuitive, and cost effective control.
Blanco 2 is a two-channel LED light engine solution providing high-quality light with a tunable range of 3000K-5000K. This makes it ideal for education and general lighting applications. Blanco 3 is the three-channel LED light engine solution that adjusts correlated color temperatures precisely along the blackbody locus across a wide range of color temperature to replicate natural daylight. With a tunable range of 2700K-6500K, Blanco 3 is ideal for healthcare and office applications.
Both light engines provide high quality white light with a color rendering index (CRI) and TM-30 data of at least 90 and provide flicker-free dimming from 100% to 0. 1%. Blanco light engines connect to dedicated LED arrays, which are available in Zhaga-compliant linear or custom form factors, ensuring an easier integration.
“The demand for tunable white light continues to strengthen and we’re taking human-centric lighting to the next level with these products,” says Jared Morello, Wattstopper Product Marketing Manager at Legrand. “The Blanco product family removes costly startup and commissioning that’s required by traditional tunable products. With these solutions, customers will be able to fully benefit from human centric lighting solutions without significant project price increases.”
The combination of Wattstopper lighting controls expertise and the sophisticated tunable LED light engine technology from Lumenetix delivers advanced lighting systems that are easy to design, install, and control.
