Maine names 2017 Healthcare Engineer of the Year

Franklin Community Health Network's director of facilities management has been recognized for promoting better patient care through design, maintenance, and operation of healthcare facilities, according to an article on The Daily Bulldog website.

Cole Teague has been awarded the 2017 Maine Healthcare Engineer of the Year Award. He has been involved with design, maintenance, and operation of healthcare facilities for more than five years.

The award is given by the Maine Healthcare Engineer’s Society. Teague was nominated for the award by a fellow Society  member, Brian Campbell.

“Cole is a leader in the industry and one of only three healthcare engineers in the state who possesses both the Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) and Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) certifications from the American Hospital Association,” Campbell said.
