The Manitoba government has approved more than 120 healthcare facility maintenance projects across the province, totaling nearly $30 million in funding, according to an article on the HPAC website.
The province expects 44 projects to be completed in 2018 – a total cost of $21.8 million.
An additional $6.8 million will address the final 80 projects. The remaining $1.4 million will be held in reserve for emergent project needs.
Other projects that will begin later this year include the installation of sprinkler systems and upgrades to fire safety equipment across Manitoba.
