Maxi-Movers by Chem-Tainer Industries expands in California and into Texas and Georgia

"The Cart Guys®" at Maxi-Movers, a manufacturing division of Chem-Tainer Industries that first introduced and pioneered the use of industrial plastics for linen and textile transport applications, confirmed that the construction of their new 7,000 sq. ft. factory in Northern California is nearing completion.

“Knock on wood but this project and site selection’s been a breeze thus far. The people here are great and we’re excited to become a part of their community. This factory nicely complements our plant in Los Angeles, boosting the West Coast’s manufacturing capacity which particularly benefits our Pacific Northwest customers by reducing delivery times and freight costs,” reports Christopher Glen, Director of Maxi-Movers.

Confirmation of the circulating news reports about the construction of an additional California-based manufacturing facility caps off an already bold and bustling year for Maxi-Movers. “This past Spring we celebrated the opening of a newly constructed factory just outside Atlanta, Georgia,” says Tony Lamb VP of Chem-Tainer Industries. However, there was no time for the champagne to flow. “It was important to accomplish our goals for the Georgia plant in their entirety and use that momentum to concentrate on completing a new factory in Texas on schedule to open during summer,” explains Mr. Lamb.

The additional California facility will be Chem-Tainer’s 11th factory, bringing the nation’s total number of manufacturing sites capable of offering full product lines to serve the textile and linen processing industry to 20.

“The new molding operations were a necessity. Maxi-Movers urgently needed to increase production capabilities to meet this decade’s rapidly accelerating demand. Strategically, our coverage zone now fully blankets the US and we can better serve our customers in the South Central and Northwest with even more convenient shipping points. It’s just one of those unique circumstances where everybody wins; I’m excited to be a part of it and eager to announce the next phase, when appropriate to do so,” Mr. Glen added with marked enthusiasm.
