Mediware releases CareTend Software - game-changing approach for the home care market

LENEXA, Kan. -- Mediware Information Systems, Inc. announces the release of its latest software solution, CareTend. The new software combines the features of all the Mediware home care solutions onto one cutting-edge platform. The CareTend software embodies Mediware's vision to enhance patient care across the post-acute continuum. The home care solution will allow providers in HME/DME, home infusion, home health agency and specialty pharmacy to seamlessly expand from their current service line into other home care markets.

The CareTend software includes new features that will further enhance

the end user experience, including an easily navigated interface with

fewer clicks and greater personalization. Users can customize their

workspace to better fit their responsibilities and workflows. The

software was also designed to handle the needs of customers with

multiple sites and large volumes as well as less complex environments,

while maintaining its ease of use and implementation for all clients.

"We are excited about what CareTend will do for our clients. We have

designed data conversion utilities and incentives to make converting to

the new platform as easy as possible," said T. Kelly Mann, President

and CEO of Mediware. "However, we understand the investment our

customers have made in their existing Mediware products, and we will

continue to work to ensure their satisfaction with their current

solutions," added Mann.
