NFMT session to explore a BIM lifecycle case study on Carolinas HealthCare System facilities

The 2016 National Facilities Management & Technology event offers three full days of education, speakers, networking with peers, and a giant expo hall. All for free.


This year's National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) event will include a session exploring a BIM lifecycle case study on Carolinas HealthCare System facilities. 

The session will be led by a panel including, Tracie Sansavera, project manager, Wright McGraw Beyer Architects, p.a.; Scott Cloud, regional director of VDC, Brasfield & Gorrie; Ryan Roberts, regional VDC manager, Brasfield & Gorrie; and Meghan Ruffo, contract BIM manager, Carolinas HealthCare System.

The session's learning objectives will be to:

1. Understand use of Building Information Modeling project standards to support facilities management data needs and requirements 

2. Understand use of virtual coordination to minimize rework and shorten planned downtime in renovation projects 

3. Gain insight into industry technologies such as laser scanning and custom programs that aid the overall BIM development

The event will be held in Baltimore on March 22-24, 2016.
