New Juno LED-compatible MR16 trac fixtures deliver optimized performance, efficiency and aesthetics

DES PLAINES, Ill. — Juno Lighting Group®, a leader in high-quality commercial and residential lighting solutions, today announced its new family of Juno® LED-Compatible MR16 Trac Fixtures, which are specifically designed to optimize the performance of 12 volt LED MR16 lamps in track lighting applications. Ideal for retail, hospitality, commercial and residential settings, these new luminaires solve the challenges that traditional MR16 track fixtures designed for halogen lamps can present when used with LEDs, such as flicker issues, overheating and premature lamp failure.

Designed with the ventilation features needed to best manage heat from LED lamps, the Juno LED-Compatible MR16 Trac fixtures enable users to capitalize on the energy efficiency, economy and manufacturer’s rated service life that LED lamps inherently deliver. The fixtures also offer physical and electrical compatibility with most 12 volt MR16 lamps and are available for virtually every Juno Trac system, including line voltage Trac-Master®, Trac-Lites™, Quick Jack systems and low-voltage Trac 12™ and Flex 12™ systems.

The Juno LED-Compatible MR16 fixtures are available in five aesthetically pleasing, designer-grade styles that include:

Concentricity16™: This open yet veiled design aesthetic enables maximum ventilation for the lamp while cleverly obscuring the lamp envelope at multiple angles. Ribbon-like concentric rings provide a distinctive visual appearance that is uniquely airy and playful.

Arc16™: The Arc16 design integrates the lamp form into the fixture, producing a functional and appealing aesthetic. The arcuate shape of the socket housing shrouds the lamp from behind while maximizing lamp ventilation and facilitating lamp installation and removal.

Lily16™: This fixture combines a spherical aiming pivot with a semi-spherical lamp housing to create a compact, one-of-a-kind visual aesthetic. Parabolic vents in the rear of the lamp housing give the fixture an intriguing floral look while enabling air circulation around the lamp.

Cone16™: The Cone16 design provides maximum lamp shielding while still incorporating venting and installation simplifying features. Backlighting often seen with MR16 lamps is virtually eliminated due to the full-coverage housing, but rear vents permit air to flow past the lamp to aid thermal management.

Gimbal16™: Gimbal16 offers the simplest of all the designs. It is also the most open, allowing the greatest air circulation around the lamp. The lamp holder structure is minimized such that the lamp itself creates the fixture form.

In addition to the above design attributes of each fixture, the luminaires feature durable, die cast aluminum construction with black, white, silver or satin nickel finishes and are designed for fast, simple lamp installation and removal. They are dimming compatible with most dimmable LED lamps and can accommodate MR16 halogen bi-pin cover glass lamps up to 50 watts maximum

Juno LED-Compatible MR16 Trac Fixtures are currently available through Juno Lighting Group channel partners. For more information about the new fixtures and their associated features, please visit the product landing page.
