New Oregon clinic was put up in one day from six modular sections

Bandon clinic to combine the current primary care clinic and outpatient services

The new  Southern Coos Health District Clinic (SCHC) in Bandon, Ore., was put up in one day from six modular sections and will combine the current primary care clinic and outpatient services, according to an article on the Bandon Western World website.

The six modular sections were pre-built in the factory. A crane was used to put the pieces into place on a foundation that was poured earlier.

The new facility will have 12 exam rooms, triple the previous number. The clinic also will include a three-bay IV infusion room, office space for medical staff, an 850-square-foot entrance area and a 300-square-foot conference room, which will be used to help SCHC expand its community education services.

The cost of the two new buildings is estimated at $2 million to $2.5 million.
