New Rehabilitation Hospital Breaks Ground in Arizona

Three-story, custom-built hospital will sit on 3.71 acres, encompass 49,128 square feet, and feature 40 patient beds

Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals and Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) recently announced the groundbreaking of a new location in Peoria, Arizona.The hospital will offer inpatient rehabilitation care for people with debilitating illnesses and injuries, such as stroke and brain injury, as well as other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.

The three-story, custom-built hospital will sit on 3.71 acres, encompass 49,128 square feet, and feature 40 patient beds — 20-bed nursing units on each floor — two high-tech physical therapy gyms, administrative offices, and dining and kitchen spaces, as well as various back-of-the-house support spaces. AP will also manage a complete interior build-out as well as all associated site work and utility services.

Slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2022, Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Peoria will provide comprehensive inpatient physical-medicine rehabilitation therapies.

Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Peoria will also create an opportunity for Phoenix-area residents to build fulfilling careers by joining a team of excellent clinicians and support staff, including specialty-trained physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians.
