Nexlight announces web site for Perfectsense building occupancy sensors

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- NexLight, the world's leading provider of extreme reliability, relay panel based lighting control systems, announces the release of the PerfectSense website www.perfectsense.org.

NexLight's newest product line, the PerfectSense Intelligent Building Occupancy Sensors, are now available to every building designer, engineer, electrical contractor, and facility manager in North America. Specifically designed to meet the demands of Title 24 and ASHRAE 90.1 2010, these dual-technology sensors provide energy savings and code compliance, for commercial and industrial building markets.

PerfectSense Occupancy Sensors use state-of-the-art technology with features such as integrated daylight sensors, walk-through mode and SmartSense auto adapting technology that continuously analyzes surrounding conditions and automatically adapts to meet those changing conditions. This mode allows for the sensor to continually adjust and optimize its performance.

"Our goal is to simplify the education and purchase process of sensor products. Our new website accomplishes the goal with a three-click concept to all information. Find a product, cross-reference another model, download datasheets, read up on the latest information or make a purchase with just three clicks. The response to date has proven we are on the right track. Customers in various markets are all looking for a quality sensor solution that is easy to understand and NexLight provides that with PerfectSense products," said Adam Beson, NexLight Vice President of Sales.

Beson added, "PerfectSense products combine today's most desired sensor features and functionality into a collection of ceiling, wall and switch mounted devices. We added superior PIR (need to spell it out), Ultrasonic sensitivity and on-board logic to further reduce the potential for false triggers (a common complaint with other sensors). NexLight spent the last two years developing the product line. Every model has been designed to fit the needs of various building occupants and to learn patterns of occupancy over time. Our core focus is developing user friendly devices with new options and features unlike anything else available on the market."

The most popular PS-CDS2000 model is a ceiling mounted 24V (low voltage) sensor providing 2000 sq. ft. detection area, utilizing both Passive Infrared and Ultrasonic detection technologies. Used with a power pack (PS-PP1277), an additional sensor relay can be used to expand detection areas. All PerfectSense models feature daylight sensors, when enabled and natural light levels exceed the selected light level, the sensor inhibits the lights from turning on. For network solutions, this model includes an isolated Form C relay providing status feedback to a NexLight 2-Wire System.
