Soliant Health has opened the voting for the eighth annual "Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S." contest.

The 11-month-long nomination period has closed and voting has begun for Soliant’s 2016 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. Votes will be accepted at mostbeautifulhospitals.com until June 22. There is no limit on the number of votes one can submit for each hospital. 

Winners will be announced on Friday, June 24. In 2015, a record-breaking 400,000 votes were received, compared to 250,000 in 2014.

Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Ga. earned 94,426 votes last year, making it Soliant’s Most Beautiful Hospital in the U.S. for 2015. It earned more than three times as many votes as 2014 winner McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. 

Phoebe Sumter’s LEED-certified facility features an eco-friendly rooftop garden, elegant use of natural lighting, all-private patient rooms, and HCACPS scores that exceed national standards on quietness and cleanliness. 

The hospital underwent a complete reconstruction after an F3 tornado ravaged the original facility, Sumter Regional Hospital, in 2007.
