OSHA Recognizes Cintas in Springdale, AR for Safety


Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) is proud to announce that its Springdale, AR location received Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The announcement took place during a special ceremony on February 11 at the Cintas location at 580 North Monitor Road in Springdale.  

Special guests included Carlos Reynolds - Area Director– OSHA; along with several other Cintas employee-partners.

VPP Star is OSHA’s highest recognition for the practice of and commitment to exemplary occupational safety and health, earned by businesses who meet rigorous safety requirements. Cintas is the number one participant in the nation for companies with VPP sites, with approximately 250 facilities throughout the world actively pursuing VPP recognition by OSHA or the equivalent under a similar certifying body.

“Achieving VPP Star certification is truly a special accomplishment because our employee-partners are the true leaders in our safety journey,” said Ryan Scogin, General Manager at Cintas Springdale. “Together, we’ve created and sustained an environment where all partners are passionately engaged and take ownership in a safe work environment.”

Since 2010, 96 Cintas locations have been recognized under the VPP program. Cintas also participates in similar programs in Canada, Mexico and Honduras.
