PDI Expands Leadership Team with New Executive in Residence


PDI, a leader in infection prevention products and solutions, announces the appointment of Brent Boucher to a newly created role, Executive in Residence, for the Infection Prevention Business Unit. As Executive in Residence, Brent will lead key projects and initiatives critical to the company's growth and expansion plans.

"In 2016, PDI experienced significant growth and transformation within our business and leadership team," said Matt Gattuso, President, Infection Prevention. "As our business continues to evolve and grow, we need to have strong leaders in place to execute our plans. Brent has an extensive background accelerating company growth through enterprise-wide strategic planning and alignment. I am confident that his appointment will help PDI continue to exceed customer expectations."

Brent will initially focus on PDI's Environment of Care business, crystallizing the strategic and market expansion plans. He will work closely with the PDI executive team to identify and develop strategic alliances as well as support BD&L and organic growth initiatives.

Prior to PDI, Brent spent nearly 20 years at Covidien where he held numerous executive level, global leadership positions. Most recently, he led a small consulting practice in Minneapolis.

In 2016, PDI also welcomed Matthew Gattuso as President, PDI Infection Prevention, Elise Tordella as Vice President of Marketing, PDI Healthcare, and Keith St. John as Vice President of Clinical Affairs, PDI Infection Prevention. In addition, a new Strategy Team led by Chris Puricelli, who previously served as Vice President of Marketing, was formed in support of the company's business and market development initiatives.
