The Ridgeview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Shenandoah Heights, Pa., is undergoing a renovation to brighten the facility and create a more relaxing atmosphere, according to an article on the Standard Speaker website.
The project includes extensive work on the third floor and the installation of murals on the second floor that depict local sites.
The murals cover a large section of the second floor wall and includes an overall image of Shenandoah, places like the Lyric Restaurant, the original look of Locust Mountain hospital and Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville.
The remodeling of six resident rooms on the third floor includes new flooring, new wall coverings throughout the hallway, all new LED lighting and a new nurses station.
