Parallel Technologies Adds Lincoln, Neb. Location

Parallel Technologies, an industry-leading reliable data center and intelligent building solutions company, has expanded its presence in Nebraska with the addition of space within the Nebraska Innovation Campus (NIC) located on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. An extension of the company’s existing office in Omaha, Neb, the new location enables Parallel Technologies to better support clients in the region and employees who live in the area.

“We are very excited to be a part of this collaborative environment alongside other innovative companies,” said Parallel Technologies CEO and President, Dale Klein. “It also provides us with a strong tie to some of the most talented students and faculty at the University of Nebraska.”

The NICS is a creative space for students, faculty and innovative companies to connect and share ideas, tools and knowledge as well as collaborate on the development and integration of technology. In addition to the facilitating collaboration and innovation, the space enables Parallel to better serve its network of clients in western Nebraska as well as add flexibility for its employees who live in the area

“Although this is a new location, we don't want to call it a new office,” explained Jay Stark, director, Building Automation at Parallel Technologies. “It is our intention to create an ecosystem where the Omaha and Lincoln locations operate as essentially one office. There will not be dedicated Lincoln staff or dedicated Omaha staff. The work will be balanced between the locations.”

Parallel Technologies’ 30 employees in Nebraska will have the flexibility to select their work location based on what best suits their workload and client needs on any particular day.
