Pennsylvania patient sold heroin from hospital room

Man was arrested at Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg


A man being treated at Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, Pa., has been accused of selling heroin from his hospital bed, according to an article on the Campus Safety website.

Hospital security officers became suspicious when the patient had several people visit him in his hospital room separately for short periods of time.

The patient was found going through a duffel bag in his bathroom and several bags of heroin and $1,000 in cash were recovered. 

The patient later admitted he was attempting to flush the heroin down the toilet.
