About Ryan Felton, LEED® GA
As Project Director, Ryan Felton has overall responsibility for McCarthy’s services. He coordinates and integrates estimating, scheduling, value analysis, construction planning and subcontracting during the project’s preconstruction phase. Felton is involved throughout the entire lifespan of a project, attending key project team meetings during construction and supervising the on-site project staff.
Much of Felton’s 16-year career has been spent building healthcare facilities. Notably, he led efforts to rebuild the $345 million, 890,000-square-foot Mercy Hospital Joplin, Mo., after it was destroyed by a tornado. Mercy Vice President of Planning, Design & Construction John Farnen stated, “I am very confident a project of that size and speed would not have had much of a chance if it were not for Ryan’s leadership to the team and entire project.”
In 2016, Felton was honored as one of the top up-and-coming industry leaders by Engineering News-Record’s Mountain States Edition. Across the country, nearly 800 future leaders were nominated for the honor. Winners were chosen based on their career experience, industry leadership and community service.
