QSpex launches its same-day personalized delivery model in Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - As a follow-up to its September 15th Press Release, QSpex Technologies, the innovators of same-day delivery prescription eyewear, is pleased to announce the opening of two Optical Service Centers in Puerto Rico.

Danny Cruz, VP of Commercial Development - Latin America, introduced the QSpex service-based business model to the Puerto Rican optical community in the third quarter of 2014. The invitee list included scores of eye care providers and practices in Puerto Rico, including Dr. Dick Robles from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry. Cruz presented the idea of a local, personalized Optical Service Center designed to deliver an improved service experience, technology advancements, and enhanced profit potential to the eye care providers. He emphasized that these benefits were made possible as a result of the manufacturing and supply chain efficiencies the Company has achieved in lens and lens treatment production.

To deliver prescription eyewear within hours - not days or weeks - QSpex has established a first-of-its-kind, community-based lens production and service center that provides multiple same-day deliveryand personalized customer interaction in Puerto Rico. "With the launch of the Optical Service Centers in Puerto Rico, QSpex has an opportunity to make significant breakthroughs in several critical areas in the local optical community, including personalization, convenience, and lens quality," said Cruz. Through these Optical Service Centers, QSpex offers a service that no other prescription lens company provides. Within hours of order placement, customers receive same-day delivery of their finished eyewear. As an added service, customers may choose to have their custom-finished eyewear personally delivered to their home or office via QSpex's fleet of artistically wrapped and branded, environmentally friendly Mercedes Benz-produced Smart Cars. All in all, an unprecedented and efficient order fulfillment process is "in sight" for QSpex customers in Puerto Rico.

"We are very excited to offer the Puerto Rican optical community not

only a unique experience in providing their consumers with superior

prescription eyewear without having to compromise cost, quality, and

time, but also, a no-questions-asked consumer guarantee," said Brett

Craig, QSpex's President and CEO. The QSpex service-based experience is

different from any other traditional operating lab today. The Puerto

Rico Optical Service Centers offer a complete range of state-of-the-art

progressive, bifocal, and single vision lenses, utilizing a

revolutionary touchless transfer technology that provides a precise and

unadulterated surface geometry.

The first location, San Fernando E-18 Ave. HNAS. Davila, Bayamon, PR

00957, opened on October 6th to service the north side of the island.

Ivonne Prieto, with 18 years of optical experience as a General Manager

for LensCrafters, is the Manager responsible for the San Juan Optical

Service Center.

as a General Manager for LensCrafters, brings a wealth of optical

ingenuity to the Company. Both Prieto and Torres bring the leadership

skills needed to manage a team made up of diverse people with

wide-ranging positions.
