Radio Callbox provides wireless access control 2-way communication works with existing radios

Carmel, Indiana – Ritron Callbox provides wireless, real-time, 2-way communication for fixed locations at schools and universities, factories, warehouses, office buildings, golf courses, construction sites, gated entryways, parking lots, and more.  Now facilities can control safety and security with enhanced access control, as visitors announce themselves from the outside and radio-equipped personnel inside take appropriate actions.  This wireless technology enables facilities to improve response time and enhance security without adding additional personnel or infrastructure.  The Ritron callbox can be PC programmed to be compatible with any brand of VHF or UHF business band radio.

Made in the USA and powered by alkaline batteries or an external 12VDC-110VAC power supply (or optional solar kit), this proven robust solution provides long-range communication with 5-times more range than other wireless systems.  For extended range, an external antenna can be added to the callbox, or it can be PC programmed to operate through radio repeaters.  Each Callbox is available with either a tamper-resistant heavy duty XT enclosure or a light duty, NEMA rated weather-resistant light duty enclosure.  For additional information visit www.ritron.com, or contact via e-mail to ritron@ritron.com or call toll free 1-800-872-1872.
