A cancer caregiver's work setting should support work function and provide a nurturing and positive environment that reflects the unique responsibilities the caregiver has in a patient’s journey, according to an article on the Healthcare Design magazine website. An effective design will enable them to provide a higher level of personal care to patients, so keeping the physical and emotional needs of caregivers, as well as their activities, in mind will enhance the patient experience.
