Three tornadoes touched down in Sioux Falls in September


Avera Health officials have released a timeline for opening Avera Behavioral Hospital for mental health emergencies, according to an article on the Argus Leader website.

Some damaged parts of the hospital have already started to open.

Construction on Avera Behavioral is expected to finish in May.

A tornado struck the hospital during the Sept. 10 storm that ravaged other parts of Sioux Falls. Three tornadoes touched down in Sioux Falls in September.
