Seeq To Sponsor Ignition Community Conference (ICC), Announces Reseller Program for Inductive Automation System Integrators

Seeq Corporation (www.seeq.com) will be a sponsor of the annual Ignition Community Conference (ICC) to be held on September 18-20, 2017 in Folsom, CA. This ICC is hosted by Inductive Automation for partners and customers of the Ignition SCADA system.

Seeq introduced a Seeq connection module for Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA system in the first half of 2017, which has been updated to work with the latest version of Seeq, R18. The Seeq integration module simplifies integration of Seeq Workbench into Ignition displays and server gateways. Ignition customers in manufacturing, mining, pulp &paper, food & beverage, and other process industries use Seeq Workbench to rapidly find insights in their data—leading to better production outcomes including improved asset availability, product quality, and process efficiency.

Seeq also introduced a new reseller program for systems integrators in the Inductive Automation partner program to resell Seeq and provide installation and training services for Seeq products. With the rapid growth of both Seeq and Ignition products, the new program will address the demand for modern analytics on data collected by Ignition systems in countries around the world including Australia, India, the Americas, and Europe.

“The easier deployment of Seeq and improved integration into Ignition Vision displays provides tremendous opportunity for Inductive Automation’s system integrator partners,” says Armin Fahnle, Managing Director at Applied Tech Systems (a division of ATS Global B.V.), the authorized training provider for Ignition in Australia in Melbourne, Australia. “With the new reseller program, we are able to offer a single, integrated, solution for modern SCADA and analytics products to our customers.”

Seeq is a software application for engineers in process manufacturing organizations to rapidly wrangle, investigate, and share insights on production data. Seeq has been recognized by multiple analyst firms for its modern approach to the pressing problem of finding actionable insights in complex data sets.

“We are very pleased to increase our support for Inductive Automation, and look forward to helping our shared customers get even more value from their Ignition SCADA systems,” comments Steve Sliwa, CEO and co-founder of Seeq Corporation. “This new reseller program will ensure our joint customers can access local system integrator expertise for Seeq deployment, training, and integration—regardless of their location."

Ignition is an innovative SCADA platform used in more than 100 countries, and is the first universal industrial application platform with unlimited potential. Ignition empowers industrial organizations around the world and in virtually every industry, with an outstanding software platform and top-notch support.

"We are very happy to have Seeq’s support for the Ignition platform, which we describe as The New SCADA because it redefines SCADA technology and licensing," notes Don Pearson, chief strategy officer for Inductive Automation. "We appreciate Seeq’s support for our annual Ignition Community Conference and expect our customers will be very pleased with the flexibility and productivity offered by Seeq."

Seeq and the Ignition SCADA platform, working together, enable customers to get the best of both an innovative monitoring and a data management platform, as well as rapid, interactive analytics on collected data. Customers can achieve insights to improve production results, a task often too time consuming in the past using spreadsheet analysis and other manual tools.

Customers with an interest in using Seeq with Ignition should contact Seeq for information on Seeq Workbench and connectivity options. In Seeq’s most recent release, R18, new features enable support for the integration of structured data from SQL Server, MySQL, and CSV files, as well as the easy distribution of analyses to coworkers. This means data from these data sources may be seamlessly integrated with Ignition data for analytics and insights.  System integrators in the Ignition partner program are encouraged to contact Seeq for more information.
