Sex offender sues Wis. hospital that won’t let him visit son

The suit argues the hospital's visitation policy is 'cruel and causes unnecessary harm to families and innocent children'

A registered sex offender is suing the Wisconsin Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee for not allowing him to visit his 9-year-old son, according to an article on The Washington Post website.

The suit argues the hospital's visitation policy is “cruel and causes unnecessary harm to families and innocent children.”

The man said his son was born at the hospital and there have been no problems in the past.

A hospital spokesman said the hospital does have visitation policies in order to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and staff and those practices do allow us to take steps that would limit an individual’s access to our hospital.
