Standardized security technologies urged for healthcare campus

Facilities with strict, consistent specifications can improve safety and cut costs

Standardized security technologies with strict, consistent specifications can improve safety and cut costs on a healthcare campus, according to an article on the Campus Safety website.

Limiting the number of products installed and requiring the ability to interact to each other will give security departments with a more complete picture of the campus.

Also, using just a few manufacturers and products that are purchased in bulk offers a better chance of negotiating better prices.
