Summa Health relaxes controversial dress code

Female employees can skip pantyhose and wear open-toed shoes


Summa Health recently issued a memo relaxing several parts of a controversial dress code, according to an article on the Akron Beacon Journal website.

Female employees can toss their pantyhose and wear open-toed shoes

And all employees can uncover tattoos, except facial tattoos or those containing profanity or other offensive images.

The restrictions were imposed nearly two years ago by the previous hospital administration.
