Swathi Bhamidipati Joins Universal Lighting Technologies as U.S. Western OEM Regional Sales Manager


Universal Lighting Technologies, Inc., a global leader in lighting and a member of the Panasonic Group, announced Swathi Bhamidipati has been hired as OEM Regional Sales Manager for the Western region of the United States. In her new role, Swathi will be responsible for growing the OEM channel by managing and supporting lighting designers and specifiers.

Swathi brings more than a decade of sales and electrical engineering experience to her new role. She has worked primarily in the electronic component and lighting industry, including a position with Avnet.

“Swathi brings a wealth of experience to our sales team,” said Stu Sumner, vice president of west coast sales at Universal Lighting Technologies. “Her broad range of professional experience in OEM work, sales management, and lighting designs and layouts will be critical for supporting new and existing OEMs in the region.”

Swathi holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Auckland University of Technology. She will be based in Southern California.
