TE Connectivity Presents Solutions for Outdoor Lighting Applications at IES Street & Area Lighting Conference

TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, is demonstrating a broad array of its connectors, relays and other components for outdoor lighting applications at the 2018 IES Street & Area Lighting Conference in Orlando, Florida from September 30-October 3, 2018 at Booth #103.

TE offers a large variety of solutions that help OEMs make lighting smart and easy. Visitors to Booth #103 will be able to see harsh connectivity solutions for street lighting fixtures and controls that enable a safer, sustainable and more connected future.

  • TE Connectivity is a full-service innovation partner, leveraging cross-industry engineering experience to enable the rapid design of connected LED lighting for outdoor applications.
  • The LUMAWISE Endurance S module will be showcased as a new compact connectivity solution for smarter street lighting control applications.  Its compact, ZHAGA Book 18 compliant size allows greater flexibility in integrating controls into a broader range of outdoor and indoor luminaire designs.
  • SlimSeal connectors are sealed wire-to-wire and wire-to-board interconnects developed for indoor and outdoor LED lighting applications. The connectors are specifically designed for robust, stable electrical and mechanical use in harsh application solid state lighting.

“TE looks forward to the IES Conference as a good assembly point for the industry leaders driving the future of outdoor lighting;” said Ron Weber, industrial sales manager at TE.  “We will be sharing how our connector solutions enable networked LED streetlights to provide improvements in energy efficiency, safety and security.”
