Taylor Design Adds Stephanie L'Estrange as Regional Interior Design Director

Taylor Design, an employee-owned architectural design, interior design and design strategy firm, has expanded its San Francisco team with the addition of 20-year industry veteran Stephanie L’Estrange as Regional Interior Design Director. In this role, L’Estrange will further elevate the firm’s interior design focus, enhancing its culture for design excellence, elevating the quality of design, and working to achieve recognition for clients and the firm.

As regional interior design director, L’Estrange will apply her critical thinking, a passion for strategy and a craftsman’s eye - hallmarks of her approach to design. She relishes the challenges of analyzing a project from differing viewpoints to demand the best solutions. Her experience includes work with clients such as Intuit, Salesforce, Wells Fargo and Accenture, where her focus on the intersection of culture and brand honed her aesthetic and defined her projects.

“Stephanie joins us at a critical time in the growth of our San Francisco office. Her design leadership brings a level of sensitivity and sophistication to the design process.  By leveraging Stephanie’s workplace background and her passion for helping others, I’m excited about what we can achieve together with our clients,” said Kevin Hinrichs, principal and San Francisco office leader, Taylor Design.

“I wanted to be part of a firm that believes that design empowers people, especially those going through profound, sometimes unexpected changes in their lives,” said L’Estrange. “I’ve found that environment within Taylor Design through its work in healthcare, science and technology, education, and senior living.”

L’Estrange holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from University of San Francisco. She is a member of IIDA and active in the Bay Area design community. Prior to joining Taylor Design, L’Estrange was Senior Design Manager with Gensler’s Global Accounts and Professional Services teams focused on national and international markets, and she served as Interiors Director with FME Architecture + Design (now FORGE) where she managed a team of designers and architects on varied Bay Area commercial interior projects.
