Tool Aims To Help Healthcare Battle Cyber Attacks

Managers can review resource library page to search for materials to fit specific needs

By By Dan Hounsell

In response to the ever-evolving threat landscape to healthcare organizations, a second group within the month has released a resource designed to help IT managers prevent cyber attacks. The MITRE Health Cyber Center recently unveiled a new ransomware resource that is designed to help hospitals and other healthcare providers develop and maintain resilient security processes and policies, according to Health IT Security.

In February, the Center for Internet Security recently expanded a free offering of its malicious internet domain blocking and reporting service for all U.S. hospitals.

MITRE provides a host of resources tailored to specific roles within the healthcare enterprise, including business managers, technical managers, IT, and cybersecurity practitioners.

Those leaders can review the resource library page to search for the best materials to fit their specific needs, broken down into key topic areas. These include insights into cyber resiliency, threat sharing, and MITRE ATT&CK tactics.
