A new Topeka healthcare facility will have resort-like amenities, according to an article on the WIBW website.
The Healthcare Resort of Topeka will have a pub, a putting green, a bistro and a movie theater on the second floor, according to hospital officials.
These features are for the patients, but the facility was also designed for the patients' families.
There are 70 rooms for those patients, who typically stay 10-14 days. There are also 24 assisted living apartments, which range in price from $3,800 to $4,200 per month. The cost includes meals and other expenses.
