UC San Diego Medical Center’s Arbor Café revitalizes space, menu

A complete renovation of the kitchen to accommodate made-to-order cooking for patient meals is in progress


The Arbor Café at UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest, Calif., is undergoing a revitalization, both in its space and its menu, according to an article on the UC SanDiego Health website.

There's a new salad bar and cashier stations on wheels to improve customer flow. Another station features quick bites to go and another offers fair trade, certified organic coffee.

A complete renovation of the kitchen to accommodate made-to-order cooking for patient meals is in progress.

A new health-conscious menu that’s also tasty and eco-friendly has been developed.
