University of Utah Hospital campus getting renovation

New Ambulatory Care Complex will be a 305,000-square-foot facility that will serve more than 100,000 new patients each year


University of Utah Health is undergoing new expansions that will let it better serve Utah's growing population, according to an article on the Construction Equipment Guide website.

A new Ambulatory Care Complex (ACC) will be a 305,000-square-foot facility that will serve more than 100,000 new patients each year

The ACC will create more convenient access for patients. The ACC will also  house two new floors of inpatient services.

After the ACC and Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital are open, construction will begin on a new Medical Education & Discovery Building that will expand medical education and training efforts across health sciences.
