VEDA Data Brings AI Tools from Academic Science to Healthcare

VEDA Data Solutions, Inc., a leading provider for data science in the healthcare industry, today announced it has joined the Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative (SHIEC) as a Strategic Business and Technology (SB&T) Partner. SHIEC is the national trade association representing health information exchanges (HIEs).

VEDA works with trusted partners to make data sharing and collaboration easier, faster and less expensive. Their automated systems increase provider directory quality and provide accurate information through a live feed, updated every 24-hours. AI & machine learning processors resolve data conflicts between partners, and cleanse directories and claims of human error. The startup has been working with some of the top healthcare organizations around the country and is excited to support HIE's as they accomplish their critical mission in the communities they serve.

“We’re thrilled be part of SHIEC” Says Meghan Gaffney Buck, Founder and CEO of VEDA Data Solutions. “This opportunity will allow VEDA to learn from trusted healthcare leaders that are on the front lines helping patients access the care they need. We look forward to partnering with SHIEC and their members to improve data quality, increase data processing speed and create resources that enhance SHIEC's mission to provide high-quality, coordinated access to data in the communities they serve."

“SHIEC is excited to have VEDA Data Solutions join the SB&T Partner program,” said Kelly Hoover Thompson, CEO of SHIEC. “SB&T Partners are selected based on their ability to bring unique solutions to our HIE community members. We believe VEDA will be a valuable and strategic partner as the company on the cutting edge of solving a decades old and expensive problem of fixing faulty provider information. SHIEC looks forward to working with VEDA.”
