VersaSuite today announced Ohio-based Elmwood at the Springs Health Care Center, a long term acute care (LTAC) hospital, has selected its adaptive electronic health records and practice management software. LTAC facilities serve critically ill patients with medically complex injuries and/or illnesses who require extended acute care after being released from a traditional hospital, but are ineligible to be transferred to a skilled nursing or other sub-acute facility.
